I would have liked to see us adjust earlier (or at least have planned a bit better) for Tech's emphasis on run defense. However, those 2 or 3 yards runs in the first half turned into 7 or 8 yard runs in the second. And since we were only down by 8 at half, and won the second 21-6, Snyds' strategy paid off. Certainly made great adjustments for that first drive of the second half.

Things that give me hope we won't lay a turd this weekend are:

1) Snyds' hatred of KU. (But didn't help in 2004).
2) KU decent performance against OU, at least in first half. They clearly "got up" for that game. Easier to take seriously than if they'd gotten completely rolled again.
3) The way we finished the game, not scoring after the two turnovers and then giving up the onsides. Gives Snyds something to harp on that's fresh in their minds.
4) Line moving KU's way so quickly. Still some disrespect card and helps counteract the big opening spread, to the extent it may affect anything.

still blame dylan.

our run def is solid, ku can't throw deep, i dont see how they score a whole lot.

34-17 seems about right.  could easily be 50 if we break some long tds/score on def-st.

This team does thrive on close games, but sorry, ku is just too poor to be in the game in the 2nd half. Probably scores a TD and a FG in the 1st quarter, but their offense sucks compared to Tech/Baylor/Mizzou. Nigel Malone probably has another couple picks and another pick 6

Coaching around AB wasn't very difficult last week.  Might not be difficult this week either.

lost $2500 on that game...Thought this was the lock of the decade...likely would have been had Dylan played that first half.  fuckin one handed, falling down, back of the end zone touchdown catches.   :chainsaw:

One of the negative things about being somewhat decent at football again, is that the tucks of the world feel all empowered.

The usual tuck suspects on this board now have a litany of partners in tuckdom, which in turn makes for a copious amount of  posts.

Thought this was going to be a Chuck Testa thread. Would have been much better had it been.

KU is the worst team in the conference. Playing them away this year is the best thing imo. Would you rather trade KU for Baylor away? Missouri? OU? A&M?
