eff Varney's. Why give them millions in free advertising? So they can spend more money rough ridin' over students? This is K-State's event, not Varney's.

My question is, how would they orientate it in front of Varney's?

Usually the area with a ton of room and people is is behind them.  For an "expansive" view of aggieville, and one that can include a mass of people, to include Varney's, they'd have to put it at least in front of So Long's, or maybe even at the far east end of Moro.

Doesn't make any sense.

Would you say that Aggieville would be a logistical nightmare?  :peek:

Kidding aside, I agree that Aggieville would just look like crap.  There's no good backdrop.  If they're really going to move it away from the stadium, we need to push for Anderson.  Let's write letters. :users:

BITB just said ESPN applied to MHK to get a permit to broadcast from the 'ville.

Why is Varney's allowed to have this kind of pull? Take the money out of politics! Take the power BACK!  :shakesfist: :shakesfist: :shakesfist: :shakesfist:

Any Fitz-related signs are going to hit awfully close to home if they broadcast on Moro Street.

This. They may have it in front of Varney's, but the cameras will not be facing Varney's.

Besides, having it in a bar district could be pretty cool.

Aggieville is pretty unique.  Could be a fun, local-culture backdrop instead of "expansive lawn + generic academic building" that gameday seems to love so much..
