The more I think about it, in front of Varney's appeals more and more.  All the bars could open up at 7 AM, everyone parties all day.  Sounds good to me.

Can't serve alcohol until 9am.

What the?  What is this Salt Lake City?  New plan, we get lattes first.
it's kansas buddy. the state that brought us prohibition..

If City of wouldn't pass a single day exception for this, they are worse than reported.

I think it's state law. But really, 9am is pretty early. You can be blacked out by 11 easy.

I see anything but the stadium or possibly the Rec Fields as a non option with the game being at 2:30p. Tailgating gates open at 9:30a and then student gates open at 12:30p. Sadly stadium/rec fields are the only feasible option imo

Yeah, let's put it in a rough ridin' field, in front of construction.

Not a chance. Aggieville works. The show is over at 11am cst, plenty of time for people to make the trek to the stadium. Imagine for the potential of a mass purple migration across campus, the university could pub the crap out of "a walk". Bit of a walk, but doable for the occassion. And don't underestimate the crazies that'll test the rcpd and drive from the side streets of aggieville to the stadium. Although I could see the city not want them to film a wasted aggieville att 10am

you have never walked from Aggieville to the stadium have you? Stadium or Rec Fields are the only options people. blame the Big XII and ESPN for not having a good time slot if you want but don't be dumb. Not a chance its in Aggieville or Anderson or Old Stadium.

Yes, let's tempt college kids with drunk driving and/or clog up the shuttle bus system so as to piss off the 'tucks, then the grand finale will be a bunch of empty seats in the student section because 1/4 of the students got too drunk in the ville to make it to the game and the other 3/4 all got to the gate at the same time and created a backlog.

Nobody wants to get drunk and walk from Aggieville to the stadium.  That's rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).

Nothing could be as Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) as giving up the opportunity for some incredible branding in front of Anderson.  Sounds like Rams & co. need a lesson in 2025.  :peek:

I have made the trek.  As long as you stop and take the obligatory halfway pit stop (crap) in Ward Hall, it's a pretty easy stroll.

Aggieville would be awesome.  Anderson would be elite.  Both are HIGHLY unlikely and a logistical nightmare with a 2:30 kick.

I'll give people wheelbarrow rides for $5 a ride to the stadium from gameday.  Get another 100 people to do the same thing and it will be fine.

Judging by how old that picture looks, I'd say sometime in the 1980's.

"Logistical nightmare"?  GMAFB with that over-dramatic crap.  They would be inconvenient at most.  But you know what?  Worth it.  The worst possible thing we could do if we get GameDay is put it in a shitty location and say to the rest of the nation, "Well, we had a couple cool ideas but they would've required people to walk a mile and a half, and we're lazy as crap, so...."

Ok...lately gameday has been doing the show in front of on campus sites on the different campuses. So why wouldn't they do it in front of Anderson...huge pretty yard, pretty building, its perfect. Yes some students couldn't get to the tailgate at 9:30  to start getting blacked out drunk (God forbid) but, leaving anderson at 11 and getting to the stadium by 1130 should be enough time to get good and drunk before the game. Try McCormick's vodka...should do the trick.

No Aggieville and no rec center fields, lets be realistic please.
