That would be the ultimate insult...to have to sit there and listen to their band play refrains all day long (they play much, much more frequently than our band...they all do) after big plays and first downs.

I understand that the old people enjoy watching the opposing team band "perform," but don't we have more self esteem than that?

I mean, these rough ridin' guys left us...why let them put on a god damn concert?

They'll get a standing o because our fans are too stupid to realize they aren't actually a part of the military.

AFAIK it's not up to us if an opposing team wants to bring their band.  They use a portion of the tickets they are allotted on the band if they choose to bring them along.  That's not how it is at K-State only, it's like that everywhere.  We shouldn't let them do pregame or halftime shows though.  What are they going to do, not let our band that wouldn't be traveling anyways perform at a game that won't happen next year?

We need to organize an effort to get the fans to boo the crap out of the A&M band during the entire halftime performance. That would be pretty awesome.

We can keep them from going on our field right?

They don't have to perform, right?

Go try and bring a rough ridin' tuba with you into the game.  They won't let you do it.

We have to let their band in if they have a ticket, but we do NOT have to let them bring their instruments into the game.

What if we smear poop on their instruments?

When Nebraska's band came off the field right next to the student section last year things got pretty heated.

I've seen the A&M band twice in 2000 and 2001.  Made the road trip as an 18 year old fish to College Station.  It was my first real taste of big time college football and was really quite an awesome experience.  2001 I remember staying in the game for A&M band at halftime just because of how cool the experience was the year before.  I remember as a young kid listening to the A&M game in 96 on Mitchvision and how we were one of the few teams in the 90's to win there.  Wasn't that Kavanaugh too?  Wow

I definately think some of their traditions are quite re-re.  For example, a stupid bitch corp member that yell at you to get off the grass when clearly you are a kid wearing purple and have no clue.  Roid freaks.  Some dumbass tradition to honor their fake military.

Is it easier for their band to spell SEC on the field instead of Big XII?
