take a seat and a deep breath...
« on: October 05, 2011, 03:36:09 PM »
watch this from start to finish:  http://sporting-ego.com/2011/09/30/our-video-clips-baylor-qb-robert-griffin-iiiplay-with-sound/

and then let it sink in that we managed to beat him and he's in the rear view mirror on the sched now.  & then pray Sams can be in the same ballpark one day.

Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

I hate when he does that play action fake, and you are just like "man. I hope he actually handed it off"

But he doesn't, and then he zings it 60 yards for a TD, and you are just like, "man"

most posters are convinced that MU is way better than Baylor.  MU has a better defense..but they won't move the ball on us like Baylor did.

he isn't lanky...just long legged.  he's 6'2 220 and did you happen to get a backside view of how that dude is put together?  he's rather beautiful.

honestly, although i do think he's borderline actual lanky, i think the way he stands and moves makes him appear more lanky than he actually is.
sams looks 1 million times better in football gear though
just watching him throw in warm ups is a privilege. can't wait.

Yep, on release you just knew that a Baylor receiver was a good 6 yards behind our slouth like secondary.

Baylor has four receivers who are sub 4.4 according to that telecast Saturday.  They're going to make plenty on their schedule look sloth like.  There is a reason why they can do what they do.

I agree.  They won't stretch us vertically like that.  If you keep Franklin confined to the pocket and force him to beat us as a pocket passer he can't do what Griffin will do.

They have a better defensive line than Baylor but their secondary is horrendous.

I'd kill a Lawrence drifter to get a QB with that level of throwing accuracy.

RGIII had better watch out for turkey-basters.  He's gonna make NFL money for sure.

Baylor being fast doesn't change the ultimate reality of our secondary.

I do give Cosh credit, because somehow we've managed to cover up enough the warts our defense still has to win against bigger time competition.

But at some point this season the bottom is going to fall out.

more afraid of @Tech than hosting MU for our defense.

dax, Kendall Wright isolated on any safety in this conference not named Markelle Martin is a mismatch...yes or no?

yeah I don't think thats dax' point. going to take a wild guess and say he was referring how this was not an isolated incident with our safeties.

They put up over 500 yards in Norman, FWIW

I think their secondary is bad enough for The Chamber to have a breakout passing game.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

They put up most of those yards when the game was well in and.

Nic is right.

MU piled up 214 yards after the halfway point of the 3rd quarter (at which they were down 31-14), and scored 14 in the 4th alone and still lost by 2 scores.
