Kibble is a beast.  If you focused on him last year it was obvious he had the talent.  But that dude is a completely different animal this year.  That play on AB's interception was special.  We're about as good at those two positions collectively as any in college football.

AB's instincts are tremendous.  I had some doubts about this but in watching the video...he's doing things most MLB's simply can't do that are not due to his physical gifts.  There are times he gets to and finds the ball through unorthodoxed paths to the ball because he does have a 6th sense. 

BTW, on the pick of Griffin he read it the whole way...he didn't need to see the receiver...he "felt" the route and adjusted right into the throwing lane, "SURPRISE"!  It was beautiful.  That play is some big time ball between those two.  Kibble swims an experienced 315lb center like he's nothing and then goes through a 240lb personal security guard for RG3 to knock Griffin on a near hot route throw.  beautiful.

Kibble has worked his way into no worse than the third round at this point.  If he keeps it up, he'll hear his name called in the second round as a worst case scenario.

Hell, he may even end up a first round pick at this point.  He's just been fantastic.

I think 3rd is a little high but he's planted himself firmly in that 5-7 range.  Depends on his weight, too.  He's better be about 320 at the combine.  He doesn't have explosive quickness but he's quicker than you think and quick enough to get a shot in the league.  He does have some pass rushing ability, too, and that is the sniff test.  If you don't have one iota of pass rushing ability you won't get a chance.  He'll never be a great pass rusher or even a good one at the next level or in projections of how he'll fare but he could be decent with a lot more work.  The thing is he might be a guy they say can play at 335-340 in the league in a few years.  He's probably about 310ish right now.

Lutui has been solid as well.  Seems like he has solidified his spot as we didn't sub out much at all last game.  (If at all, I don't remember seeing anyone other than Kibble and Lutui in there.)  Kibble could be a first team all Big12 this year.  That would be at least a 2nd rounder, I would think.
