Admit it.  The first time you heard them, you thought they were an English band, huh?  This thread is for truth tellers.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I assume every band is American unless I'm told otherwise or hear an interview.

By that I mean it always surprises me to hear that certain bands aren't from the USA.  I'm pretty embarrassed about how surprised I get.

Sams Town was rough ridin' horrible.  Like, really bad.  Bad enough to make you go back and listen to Hot Fuss to see if it was actually good, or if you were just Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) during that time period.

I enjoyed both albums (not you stupid b side remix album that was made to get out of your three album contract without doing any additional work)

First song I heard was from the U.K version of Hot Fuss Indie Rock and Roll, so I thought they were from Britain. Then I found out they were from Vegas, and I was all . It doesn't hurt their music is AWESOME.

Overrated.

Can someone explain the lyrics "I've got soul but I'm not a soldier" to me? What the hell does that mean? Only soldiers have souls? Or rather, it's very rare for someone who is not a soldier to have a soul?

I don't really care about lyrics in music, but for crying out loud, it's not hard to write lyrics that at least make sense.

Did not think they were English. Hated them though.

Now I tolerate/enjoy some of their songs.
