one time, while eating at Sonic, i looked through my tator tots and there was a french fry.  Blew my mind.  How did that guy sneak out of side dish purgatory and into my car?

I reached into a normal bag of m&m's and I pulled out a handful (7) m&m's and they were all orange.  :surprised:

I can't believe it. I've been telling everyone.

Important, what size bag?  Plain or Peanut?  By normal, you mean it had the full range of colors?

You guys just don't get it. Get a clue.
What I don't get is why somebody would post this in the shadow of the triple poptart post a week ago.

Had something like that happen with chips, like a potato chip in my corn chips. Was all "whoaa", then I ate it.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

One time I found a fingernail in my can of mixed nuts.  It was gross.
Wondering who is running this hot dog stand and seriously considering heading out for tacos.

Yes, then Mrs ltrain called and complained.  They offered to send us a free can of nuts or something, we declined.

Hey _33, orange you glad you started this thread?

p.s.
Don't believe you lard ass.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Always decline the first offer.  Use it as a bargaining tool on your way to a whole case of mixed nuts.

Regular sized bag, like you get at a gas station. Plain. Yes.

Great post Fldermaus. Your post and my posts are the only good posts in this thread. Congrats to me and you and no one else.

Assume a 1.5 oz bag with 6 different colors, 9 m&m of each color.  Total of 54 pieces in bag.  Probability of drawing seven consecutive of the same color is:

P = (9/54 * 8/53 * 7/52 * 6/51 * 5/50 * 4/49 * 3/48), which is roughly 1 in 5 million.

This is the probability of drawing the seven immediately upon opening the bag.  If you ate some non-orange m&m's before pulling your seven, then the probability would increase.

If everyone on earth shook out seven M&M's, only ~1400 would get seven of the same color.  Maybe 233 of them would get orange.

Apparently there are 200,000,000 m&ms sold in the US every day.
