Well, to be fair, Miami has been an incredibly average program over the past several years. Still an impressive win for K-State, but let's be honest... the U has been gone for quite some time.
Miami will still be in the running for the ACC championship. They are nowhere near their early 2000's level, but they are a pretty damned good team.
Miami got beat by the same Maryland team that just lost to Temple, 38-7. The ACC will come down to Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and Florida State, imo.
Miami had 8 starters out for the Maryland game and nearly won it. Something tells me Maryland brought it a lot more in that game than vs. Temple.
BTW, Miami had an OL with 75 starts between them in the KSU game, JaCorey Harris (who despite being turnover prone averaged 240 passing per game last year), as talented at RB as any, and experienced receivers....it was an offense that averaged 430 yards per game last season.
Wealth of experience on defense, too.
Maybe it's not 2001 or 2002 Miami but it's a VERY talented and experienced team that will beat a lot of people this year.
