wait, KU had an alumni basketball game during the middle of football season?  you really have to feel for Turner.

This is the same board where a bunch of middle-aged men discuss which K-State basketball player is the most "adorable."  But yeah, shame on KU fans for being proud of their former players, their tradition, and their overall success as a program.

Which one did you think looked the happiest?

How long have I discussed the constant need for validation that exists amongst that fanbase?   You know that when anyone visits, they literally overwhelm them with probing and leading questions until the visitor finally just caves and tells them what they want to hear so they'll leave them alone.

They'll then pile on to the message boards with their anecdotes about how so and so was visiting and they said that if they could they'd move to Lawerence, or that AFH was the singular greatest experience of their entire life etc. etc.

At least they had it on the bye week, if Roy was still there you can bet he would of held it at 2:30 on homecoming weekend

Just read that thread.  Texas A&M isn't the only cult in this conference.  JFC.

What an unbelievably special thing we have here at the University of Kansas. It was, without question, one of the coolest sporting events I've ever been to in my life. The atmosphere - particularly prior to the game and throughout the second half - was absolutely incredible.

Not like a game. I don't really know how to describe it. At the risk of sounding incredibly cheesy, it just felt like everyone was there - players, coaches and fans - to celebrate the awesomeness that is Kansas basketball.

so special.

Pierce was just being nice.  He won't go back for several  more years.

Remember when the entire fanbase threw him under the bus for leaving early for the NBA.  Many racial slurs were flung and you would think he had just opened fire and started dropping people on campus with the way the squawks were talking about him.  What a sad, sad fanbase they have there.

Yes.  Selbs came back and I rated his smile an 8.6 on the smile-o-meter graph.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

guess you better get that baby tuned up because Selby registered a 9.1 on my smile-o-meter. ALMOST beat out X's 9.3.

It's not an adorableness contest guys.  This is about how happy they all were to just be back, not how good they looked.

The SmileTronx Beta .1 is up and running.

So far, Mark Mangino's smile on the KSU sideline in Miami is the highest so far at a blistering 101.3

I have tried to capture Paul Pierce's in Lawrence but he was in and out so quick that data is not complete.

Will try next time he is in Lawrence ( 2035)

Yes they did. And I bet the attendance was higher than the last home FB game will be.

Did he drive his Benz with license plate "TRUTH34" to Larrytown and shack up in his apartment he owns there? I wonder....
