i mess around here a lot and it's v fun, but i'd say that 80% of what i post is pure folly. this post is one of the 20% that's not. that bball board and that group of fans as a whole is one of the weirdest if not the weirdest group of college sports fans on the entire planet. i mean, i just don't even know what to say after i read that. it's just "there are no words".

yeah. i secretly love their "alumni douche-fest" events as it really brings the best out of them.

their board is just a riot right now.

Meanwhile, we beat Miami. :ck:

This is so weird.

This is the same board where a bunch of middle-aged men discuss which K-State basketball player is the most "adorable."  But yeah, shame on KU fans for being proud of their former players, their tradition, and their overall success as a program.

Anything to distract yourselves from football season. I know you're going to remind me that it was on a bye week, but don't act like people were less excited about a pick-up game than they have been about any KU football game.

i don't have an issue with anything above and neither should anybody.

it's the whole....... "they were happy to be here. no this guy was the happiest to be here. did you see his smile? yeah i saw his smile. he was total happy. bro i know. bro you don't. bro i do. he was really, really happy to be in lawrence. did you see the guys smile. my goodness it was a big smile and he was double happy to be here".

i mean honestly, it has to be kind of weird even for a ku fan.

I'm pretty sure my high school has some kind of alumni dodgeball game or soccer game something every couple of years and junk. It's pretty adorable, I will admit.

You certainly see why KU is a special place just in those four video clips from the newspaper. I hope there is a DVD because it will remind alums and will teach prospective students and BB players why KU is the best place to go to school, play basketball and grow as a person.

I think a DVD is in the works. I saw a lav mic clipped to Coach Owens' lapel and pretty sure I saw one on Coach Brown's. Listening in on those huddles and the bench would be priceless.

Yeah, like, we can admit the rivals and kstatefans posters are rough ridin' weird and mostly dumbasses, and even most on this board.  But KU fans can't seem to come to grips that they also have really strange people posting about KU athletics.
