But I think Hubert showed some skills today ...... But seriously how can you be that short and that slow?

Being short and being fast are not correlated, you just think that because of Sproles.

Ugh. I couldn't believe how bad that looked. Between that play and him diving headfirst for the sideline (while fumbling) in the EKU game, he just baffles me.

Yeah that was horrible. Him not looking back on the check down route and killing our momentium was equally as shitty.... What sucks the worse is you know he is talented, but he is eff'in himself big time...... When he gets on the field he's gotta show up bigger then that weak crap.

Brandon Banks, hell most lil short guys can motor but Hubert had two open field runs and got caught from behind both times..... Hell although not short D.Thomas would have scored on one of those runs.....

he was carrying out a play fake.. it's harder to adjust and make a block if you really try and sell the fake. i saw a similar whiff by an nfl rb last week. but granted, it would have been nice if he could have gotten even a hand on him.

He's coached to break off the fake to protect the QB if necessary, just shows he's not paying attention, not a good excuse.

That's because short guys have little value unless they are fast. It doesn't mean they're correlated. Granted, if a short person is playing college football or NFL, it's probably because they offer speed. Hubert has other skills to offer.

No that was a flat out terrible whif. You don't carry out the play fake anymore when you have to pick someone up. Thus why he came out right afterwards.

They do need to just give him the ball. Can you imagine him in that zone read or the sweep around the corner?

Slow ass Hubert could only manage 166 on 18 carries...9.2 yard average.  Bryce is clearly the superior player at this point.  that fact that he isn't getting more chances screams of racism.

He had a great gam no doubt, but if he had moderate to good speed he would have had three t.d's and 200 plus yards....

The only times I noticed Bryce in the game were the times he was rough ridin' up and costing us 10 yards.

great argument.  bryce got in, totally whiffed on a block and we did nothing when he was in (granted we didn't give him the ball).  i still want bryce to be in and was pisssed he wasn't playing in the first half.  my guess is he's not playing because he doesn't care about blocking, and we need that from every position.  i mean brod and harp came all the way back here just to block, totally emaw.  bryce hasn't shown any emaw.  still want him to play.  just my jmo

Looks like he rushed for a whopping 211 yards against the SEC in 2009.

Hubert did good enough to get us the win, Bryce would've accounted for at least 2 more TDs
