Curt is mad about the one CBS guy tweeting what everyone already knew about Ellis to ku minutes before Ellis himself mumbled something into a microphone at the insistence of his mom.  He's also mad about the possibility that Ellis' mom might have affected Ellis' recruiting rankings.

I can see a rationale for Ellis' mom affecting his recruiting rankings.  If the ranker gets the impression that the kid is an introverted mama's boy that will be a bitch on the court in college, right or wrong, that could affect the rankings.  Also, if the ranker thinks that the mom is going to continue to be the kid's hypeman for 4 years and be a massive headache for the program, that could affect the rankings.

My argument has nothing to do with how nice or cooperative anyone is to the media.  Obviously, I don't give a crap.

With all due respect, naw eff that it's obvious that piss doesn't have a clue as to what he is talking about.  The family didn't tell the media the teams did.  If the Ellis' didn't call the teams before hand people would bitch about how classless it was that he didn't inform them.  I don't know what coach told Seth Davis, but I am 100% certain that it wasn't the Ellis family that did.  The Ellis family didn't complain about the leake because they didn't know that Seth Davis posted it on twitter.  They were sitting in the locker room at Heights High when he did it.  Bottom line is that the Ellis family did the right thing by informing the schools of his decision, whoever told Seth Davis shouldn't have and he shouldn't have tweeted it.  Anyone who tries to argue otherwise is simply being contrarian and frankly an idiot.
