if they didn't want the beans spilled they shouldn't have told the media to begin with. dumbasses.
this, plus- the only people bitching about the beans being spilled are media members. i haven't seen anything from the ellis family saying they're mad about beans being spilled.
secondly, i don't understand how his recruiting rankings were actually hurt. he was recruited by and could have signed at the top programs in the country, Duke, KU, K-State, Kentucky. who would have recruited him had he a handler not named Fonda Ellis? the Lakers?
GMAFB with all this contrived bullshit.
Must not have seen MIR's minor meltdown
With all due respect, naw eff that it's obvious that piss doesn't have a clue as to what he is talking about. The family didn't tell the media the teams did. If the Ellis' didn't call the teams before hand people would bitch about how classless it was that he didn't inform them. I don't know what coach told Seth Davis, but I am 100% certain that it wasn't the Ellis family that did. The Ellis family didn't complain about the leake because they didn't know that Seth Davis posted it on twitter. They were sitting in the locker room at Heights High when he did it. Bottom line is that the Ellis family did the right thing by informing the schools of his decision, whoever told Seth Davis shouldn't have and he shouldn't have tweeted it. Anyone who tries to argue otherwise is simply being contrarian and frankly an idiot.
You don't know how his recruiting rankings were hurt? You'll have to ask whoever it was that downgraded him because he has a mother who had the nerve of taking an interest in his recruitment. Would he have been downgraded if it was his father instead of his mother? Again it was Jeff Goodman that brought this up, not the Ellis family and not local media so I am not sure why the Ellis' have to answer for this. No in the end it didn't matter that someone lowered his ranking because they didn't like his mother. The issue with that is not with Ellis but with what recrits are helper or hurt by some guys random ass possibly ill informed criteria. To recap we're okay with recruiting services having issues with involved mothers but not okay with them making fun of Alex Klein.
And despite what Trim asked, hell yes it's an issue if someone is equating toughness with an involved mother. His father lives at home why would his toughness be questioned because his mother has a twitter account? Would we rather he have a mother like Tony Mitchell? None of the people projecting their thoughts and opinions on Fonda know a damn thing about how she and her husband Will raise their children, all they know is that she has twitter and retweets a lot. It seems to me that people are pissed that Fonda didn't allow her 14, 15, 16, and 17 year old son talk to national media someone is going to have to let me know why that's wrong.
