You hayseeds have posted this topic about fifty times now.  Do you realize that Kansas was a free state and that the Jayhawkers fought to end slavery?  It was called the Civil War.  People died.

Beems supports terrorism.

And he's from Topeka. Could be related to the Phelps.

Yes, the battle of Osceoala certainly was a turning point in the civil war. The union may not have authorized the attack, but those Jayhawkers went ahead and raped the crap out of the womenfolk and murdered the children, anyways. Why, if it weren't for the Jayhawks, the union might have lost the real war over on the east coast.

Not surprised that you guys would take the side of the slavers on this topic.  You're a disgrace to the entire state of Kansas.

"and a band of about 2,000 "Jayhawkers" that left a dozen men executed on the town square and the community itself a smoking ruin"

i hope that's not what freedom is all about.

The few confederate soldiers who were located in Osceola retreated before the Jayhawkers showed up. Rather than chase down the actual soldiers, the Jayhawkers (not even real union soldiers) decided they would rather burn down the city, rape the women, and get too drunk to walk. They did round up 9 local civilians and execute them on the square, though.

Irony:
During a Mizzou game in Lawrence, they played a clip (probably unlicensed/unauthorized) from The Outlaw Josey Wales, that had the old woman in the movie saying something about "nothing good comes out of Missouri".

The "jayhawks" in that movie were pretty much cowardly pussies that were proud of using armed force on unarmed women and children.

Not one of the ku fans at that game even had a clue about the irony, and that their heritage was of cowardly terrorists.
