Yes. The government needs to get involved before this gets too out of hand.

We should just make the NCAA a branch of the federal government and let congress align the schools.

UNLV would get preferential treatment.

Agreed.  Title IX is a perfect example of intercollegiate athletics fed govt. meddling success.

On a related note, I believe there could be existing Federal Law (i.e. antitrust act) and general civil law that could be relied upon if the government doesn't decide to eff this up even worse than it already is.

hey obama you can keep the change all I want is a quarterback.

And this was the day that yla was at his best. He was throwing bombs all over the field, threading throws through triple coverage, and scrambling and scrambling for 40 yard runs that seemingly lasted for days. It was arguably the finest performance ever seen on a football field in modern history, there was only problem: the game was in a run-down, tinderbox of a stadium called "The Birther Pit," and not a soul showed up to watch.

For years to come, goEMAW'rs will talk about where they were when they read yla's post. Some won't believe it existed, claiming they were on the boards for every minute of conference realignment, yet never saw it. The few of us who wandered the depths of goEMAW into the godforsaken territory of The Birther Pit, searching for every tidbit of information and pessimistic joke they could find, will have read it. And they will never forget. And they will remain united as one in their enjoyment of said post.

Would this be more like the North Texas game or Ski's 62?  I think Ski's 62.
