Can you believe that sorry SOB has the balls to give his son a coaching position?  I mean, really?!  WTF?!  Who does he think he is?!

Beemer is a good coach who is not yet collecting Social Security.

Shane Beemer coached:

4 Seasons at South Carolina

3 Seasons at Mississippi State

and was a grad ass't at Tennessee prior to that.

Before joining the VT staff.

jt please compare and contrast that to Sean's resume . . . tia.

So, he coached for several yrs at BCS schools, and is now the associate HC at a BCS school?  Oh, he was also a long snapper at Va Tech.  Yep, that is an entirely different resume than Sean's Dax, justl ike totally different.  Oh, and he's rumored to be the HCIW.  Man, can he get any more different than Sean?!  Dude was a long snapper!

I've said it before and I'll say it again jt, if Sean goes off and coaches somewhere else and proves himself outside of daddy's little bubble, then he certainly is a viable candidate to replace daddy.  But he's NEVER left Daddy's little bubble at K-State.

Shane Beemer has spent 7 seasons AWAY from daddy's bubble coaching at SEC schools.   Only a hyper Snyder apologist like you can't see the difference.

Don't know that I'd be thrilled with handing the reigns over to the younger Beamer if I was a VT fan, but yea, at least he's been somewhere else. Seany has done absolutely nothing at any place not KStateo. Take off the blinders and pretend his last name isn't Snyder and look at his resume. Prince's resume looked like a Texas/Florida candidate compared to Seany boy's.

Oh, and I am not saying that it's good that Beamer hired his kid necessarily, but at least he's coached elsewhere at BCS schools.

I don't want Sean as our next HC, I just don't have an issue with him coaching special teams.  I am merely pointing out that lots of coaches hire their sons/brothers/dads/etc.

Guess I should clarify a bit-  I don't want Sean to ever be our HC.

Another observation about college football:  Head coaches get fired for sucking.  All over the place.

2 yrs ago we were 1 win away from playing in the CCG, last year we went to a bowl.  Not great seasons but certainly not terrible.  If you really thing Snyder sucks, well, you're an idiot.

The point isn't that Snyder should be fired today (though he should) the point is that he never should have been re-hired because there is no viable exit strategy once you let him back in.

No, he's talking about the fact that the Big 12 North was so utterly rough ridin' bad that year that a team that got beat by lala and failed to make a bowl game was somehow one ass-kicking away from getting annihilated in the dr. pepper game.

Yeah, because no team has ever suffered a bad early loss and was able to recover.  Truth is, you retards are so butthurt about Bill being a the coach that you refuse to even admit the success he has had and can only stew on his failures.  You must be some miserable, insufferable little bitches in real life if this is what you do for "fun."

At what point was there a recovery?

Quote
09/05/09   vs. Massachusetts   Manhattan, Kan.   W, 21-17
09/12/09   at Louisiana    Lafayette, Louisiana   L, 17-15
09/19/09   at UCLA    Pasadena, Calif.   L, 23-9
09/26/09   vs. Tennessee Tech   Manhattan, Kan.   W, 49-7
10/03/09   vs. Iowa State *    Kansas City, Mo.   W, 24-23
10/10/09   at Texas Tech *    Lubbock, Texas   L, 66-14
10/17/09   vs. Texas A&M *    Manhattan, Kan.   W, 62-14
10/24/09   at Colorado *    Manhattan, Kan.   W, 20-6
10/31/09   at Oklahoma *    Norman, Okla.   L, 42-30
11/07/09   vs. Kansas *    Manhattan, Kan.   W, 17-10
11/14/09   vs. Missouri *    Manhattan, Kan.   L, 38-12
11/21/09   at Nebraska *    Lincoln, Neb.   L, 17-3

I'd be fine with Bill/Sean being coach if that made us good again.  6-6 and Pinstripe Bowl and 10-7 and being an afterthought in football conference realignment talk a decade after being in the national championship picture isn't good.

You make absolutely zero sense.  Maybe you should stick to things you know about like hassling people you don't know for money.
