http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/scorecasting/09/15/kelley.pulaski/index.html?eref=sihp&sct=hp_t11_a2

High school coach in Arkansas.  Doesn't believe in punting, returning punts, and almost always calls for onside kicks after scoring.

His team went up 29-0 before the other team had an offensive possession.

Why would anybody not believe in returning punts?

if you read the article, he says that the chance of a player fumbling isn't worth the small amount of yards likely to get.  makes sense when you look at the #'s.

They had this guy on the news last year.  He went something like 53-2 up until the interview and was about to play for the state title at that time.  His philosophy at the time sounded a lot like leach.  Throw constantly, and never kick.

Doesn't that sort of fly in the face of his kickoff strategy?

I would assume if this is your philosophy, you're going all out to block the kick every time. Which in high school is probably a better bet than returning a punt that goes 20 yards high and 15 yards down field.

Leach and only Leach.

Leach, Tressel, RichRod, Venzy, pretty much any top coordinator at a BCS School > Snyder

He always onside kicks because he assumes they will get good field position on the return anyway or may run back the kick. He doesn't field punts because he doesn't think the field position is worth the risk. He gives the statistics of the other team scoring from different field positions, but completely ignores the statistical chance of his own team scoring from poor field position.

His strategy only makes sense if his defense is horrible and his offense is very good.
