Paying the Bills

It is Sunday.  Time to "pay the bills" according to the wife.  I get up, carefully open each bill then throw everything away.  Seriously what a tedious process.  Is there anyone on here that stuffs envelopes besides Jeffy?

and the only envelope I stuff these days is a county special tax on my house, but I always mail at least 2 weeks late....on principle.

I have not had a checkbook since 1997.    I write approximately 5 checks a year, and print those on my computer using Versacheck.

most utilities/cc's/etc. offer direct withdrawal, but I some weird aversion to anybody having access to take money from my bank account beside myself and mrs. raquetcat, I still pay the bills online, but it sucks to have to sit down and press the "pay" button once a month
