How exactly is any of this Beebe's fault? That man is a hero.
I don't think I'd call the leader of a conference that's had 3 schools leave (or try) in 16 months a hero. He has played no role in this latest round. On Sept. 2nd he gave A&M away to the SEC on behalf of the Big12 and tried to do this on behalf of all of the individual conference members, a power he didn't have. It came out when it looked like his conference was going to fall apart again his leadership was "everyone work on Texas to stay" when the whole time Texas didn't want to leave anyway, it was OU. Now it looks like OU wants to leave and BU and Ken Starr are putting up the fight, not Beebe.
On the other hand, I posted that too quickly. I was talking to a buddy about Loftin and had Loftin on my mind when I posted it, not Beebe.
