The B-Ball board is joyless.
« on: February 26, 2010, 01:19:32 PM »
We're ranked 6th, have a likeable team, could in 1 months time (or so) be declared National Champions of the world and the only thing that goes on here are posts with links to a statistical site where some loser (excuse me) came up with ways to predict the future as it pertains to collegiate basketball games.

What's the deal?

I don't want to single anyone out but it seems, to me, this is a result of a want to conform to the ways of a particular poster, who absolutely sees no hope or joy in any of this...

All I can do is tell you:

Do not fear! Welcome the challenges ahead! Enjoy every second!

So...Begin.

You forgot poster intimidation.  There's a lot of that too.

I tried to spread some optimism and joy and got brutalized...this board blows.  Very little bball talk...lots of irrelevant bullshit.  I'm still on cloud nine that I get to watch KSU talk on espn...and talk of a run to the final four at that!  Pretty exicitng time to be a wildcat!

it is hard to be joyful when there is a lack of recruiting (joyful) news.

All we know, all there is, is the present.

The past no longer exists, it can only be recalled in the present.

The future should not be dwelled upon, it does not yet exist.

We are presently the 6th best team in men's NCAA college basketball, as decided by coaches and sports writers.

The present is worth our joy.

kind of.
