I personally think road cyclists are fairly odd people, but not awful like hipsters on fixies. I know a road commuter that wears a full tights suit and clip shoes for a 3 mile ride each way. I think I went through my cyclist classifications in this thread already.
I'm a loner roadie. I find that the bike clubs in Louisville are full of asshats. So I just do my own thing.

Went through a stage where I did.. Now it just seems like a hassleSame. I bought a Schwinn when I enrolled at KSU. Rode it constantly in college. It is still in very good shape and is a nice smooth ride, but I have rode it like 5 or 6 times since school. You rode a bicycle in college. You sorry bastard. That is hands down the loseriest thing you can do. You seem to have rebounded decently in old age, but man. I rode one to school periodically too. Mainly on nice days and because I refused to buy a parking pass. lived close enough to bike but far enough not to walk.Same. Chase.

Helmet always. Spandex kit only on the workout rides.
KU is right on par with Notre Dame ... when it comes to adding additional conference revenue
Beer pro tip: never drink anything other than BL, coors, pbr, maybe a few others that I'm forgetting

Never even entered my mind.
anyone ever bounced their head off the pavement? I did it as a kid (with helmet) and that's about the most helpless feeling split second I've ever had in my life. team helmet man.
