I've hiked there. It's awesome. You should have a blast on a bike.

been riding a lot the past week around our trail systems. also did several trails in Sedona a few weeks ago, and a decent amount of riding in Moab the week before that. things seem to be shaping up to be a great mtb season so far.

Sidelined with tree pollen allergies. I can't breathe after fifteen minutes outside and I'm taking medicine. Stinks. The weather has been so nice.

How about you?

went on a ride about a month ago in the hill country, was really nice.  my bike was in desperate need of a tune up though and it pretty much wrecked the chain.  went on another ride a couple days later and couldn't even stay in the large chain ring due to slippage.  bike shop was 2 weeks out on repairs so took it in an finally got it back Wednesday.  Did a nice ride on Fri & Sun and looking forward to another today if the thunderstorms stay scarce.

Ten miles this afternoon. Beautiful riding weather now that my allergies are under control. Looking forward to a couple of  longer rides this weekend.

:billdance:  glad you are back in the saddle

just finished a ride.  4th ride since friday, all 25ish miles.  this is by far the best riding shape i've ever been in at this point in the year.  gonna be a kickass spring/summer/fall.

but, another beautiful day in Flagstaff. About 20 miles of fun singletrack. Saw one other rider on the trail.

No worries. I rode slowly as well. 14 mph over a hilly 19 mile course. Not too many
flat areas around here.

finally got my buddy back out with me yesterday after his 3 month hiatus.  I did something I never thought I would do, out ride him.

He went 20 miles with me and after he threw up twice and went home, I went 14 more.  This is a really big deal guys, he was a collegiate runner and cyclist (not to mention 8 years younger than me, ok I just mentioned it) and I have never even been able to grab onto his wheel when he is going 100%.

don't worry about me, I'm obsessive compulsive and right now have cycling in my crosshairs.  keep up the rides if you enjoy them.

Fun ride in the sunshine today. Fantastic riding weather. Wish I was in better shape for a fifty mile ride. I'll take seventeen though.

AST... Where have you been this week? I brought my bike to Cleveland. I've enjoyed the cool air and sunshine.

Tuesday. 13 miles.

Wednesday. 17 miles.

Both were along multi use pathways in the suburbs. Good times.

nice riding IPA

this week is a rest and recovery week on the cycling.  did 14 miles last night at about 75% effort, have a run tonight and another 14-15 mile ride scheduled for tomorrow.  Sunday I'll start ramping up again.
