lockett looks to me like a long bomb specialist.  to me, that's my favorite player- high impact long bomb specialists are a rare speciality, a rareiality.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Didn't see the game, but while listening to Wyattvision, it sounded like the fumble play was due to two concurrent hits by defenders -- one high, one low -- very soon after the catch, which ordinarily would result in a fumble by anyone. Anyone to confirm or deny via HD?

One hit but a big one. Was a tough catch to hold on to.

I saw the hit clear as day (via Wyattvision) and I can tell you that no one could have held on to that ball.  No one?

No one.

I agree. That's how I saw it. Plus, that reception by Brod(?) clearly went for little or no gain on 3rd and long, which is going to bring up -- oh, um -- well, he actually got 9 or 10 on that -- um, excuse me... 1st down K-State!

Snyder: Tyler (Lockett) did fine. Other than putting the ball on the ground, he handled himself well.

He danced around like a rough ridin' idiot during kick returns. A rough ridin' idiot.

No idea what you all saw that makes you so giddy.

He danced around on a return and didn't gain yards, and fumbled.

whenever lockett would touch the ball, me and my buddies would yell "Lock'n Load"  at the very top of our lungs.  was fantastic.

he did nothing to make me really feel this way, but i think he'll be the next "big name" kick/punt return guy at tKSU

His name consists of four syllables, so there's that.

I like to think his dad factored that in when naming him.

I'm mostly pissed because TL gave up the ball in a way-too-close game.

If the 40 - 0 blow out we expected, had materialized, no one would care about one fumble.

When we get ahead by 40, Tyler can carry the ball like a stinky diaper and no one will care.

Amen.  People need to stop hanging off of Lockett's sack.  He did nothing to impress, imo.

You just watch. He's going to our primary offensive weapon by the end of the year and an elite punt returner. That was obvious in his 5 touches.

Besides, I'd rather have a player with a chip on his shoulder than a blue chip player thank you very much.

who is "we"?
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

I know this sounds really powertardy, but I haven't been this excited about a young receiver since Jordy.

Remember when he caught that long TD @ Tech and it looked like we might not get boat raced? Oh man. Heady times.
