I'm certainly a Cosh skeptic, but was impressed by the obvious improvements on defense compared to last year.
Then again, as slow and horrible as we were on defense last year, improvement should be a given.

I'm not ready to throw any parades for Cosh. His track record is average when he's at his best, and taking one performance against a freshman-QB led FCS team as a barometer is a step I'm not willing to take.

But I do think we do have more speed, which certainly doesn't hurt.

The improvement has everything to do with speed and athleticism.   And the opponent.

The front line linebackers are the best we've had here as a tandem since 2002.

Dead serious.  Walker and Brown are great.  I love Tre Walker.

I kept thinking it seemed like he was kinda good.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."
