Yeah, should make that the rule for all restaurants Covid or not. Just more efficient, easier to update, less waste, all positives.

Belongs in a different thread but I hate it at nice places because it cheapens the experience and in general I don't like everyone having their phone out at dinner. Love it when I can order with my phone though, especially at a brewery or something.

I had a weird one in Brooklyn last week where you ordered from the table on your phone but it was cash only. Go figure!

I saw something where they're going to run out of QR codes in the next couple of years so you should see them die.
This was one of those funny things during covid that some restaurants did that cracked me up. Got rid of menus and you had to scan QR code to look at the menu.

Why is that funny? Seems smart, to me.

What mich said, cheapended the experience a bit for me. Also my phone screen was no bueno at the time.

I prefer my menu to be a small single sheet of paper with the date on it because the menu changes every day

Also here is a pretty nice Italian restaurant in my neighborhood that still refuses to use paper menus and I always see old people struggling like hell to read the menu on their phones (or having their adult children who brought them showing them how to download and open a pdf)

As expected The Maize Johnsons beat the crap outta Hays 42-9. Not nearly as expected, Manhattan beating Derby again, they've won the right to ~~lose to~~ beat G-E in next weeks championship game.
