Basically the state championship of 8-man tomorrow. Both teams have mercy ruled (>45 pts) every team they have played.

we were the biggest class in a few years up or down from ours at about 40. I'd say that 23 number was more standard in my time as well though.

Some times it’s just easier to drop or roll w 8-man. Bennington, which is/was growing moved up from 8-man to 2-1a a few years ago. They’re back in 8-man I now, with 92 students 10-12 (30 per class).

Then you have the stalwarts like Centralia w/ 73 10-12 (24/class) yet remain 11-man 2-1a power and often play 3A and sometimes 4a schools.

8 man football was a blast.  My junior and senior years in high school I think we only played a few full games as we mercy ruled most teams by halftime.  We would take our pads off and sit on the sidelines to watch the halftime band show.

I miss the days of rolling into Garden City and dropping off an ass whipping and leaving with the hatchet. Now we got neutral site games and qr codes.

I graduated in 92.  I remember holding that hatchet in my hands being amazed at how few years were stamped on the GC side of that thing.  I understand Garden went on and rattled off a long run of wins in the 90's but I think Dodge still has a stranglehold on that all time record?

What's the complaint with qr codes? Too easy to use?

I feel like QR codes were forced on us and URL shorteners were never really given enough runway to truly take off.  Now these damn QR codes are everywhere.  It's frightening.

I saw something where they're going to run out of QR codes in the next couple of years so you should see them die.
