sad, really

“It almost kind of felt like being on a financial bubble,” Turec says. “I think a lot of KU football fans had a hard time believing it was actually happening, and then it just burst. It just fell apart. It vaporized as quickly as it came together.”

Cliff notes: KU football has always been a joke, had one fluke season, and is now back to being a joke.

Can't believe I totally forgot they lost to a D1-AA.  Lol.  What a complete joke of a program.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Hopefully Gill and the Hawks can get things turned around this year.  I think that's something we can all agree upon.

We will likely lose to that joke of a program this yr, we have never beat them back2back at games in Lawrence.   They have an exp QB and Oline and they are talking up their RB.

This year is an unrealistic time frame. If there is one thing we can agree on, it is that Gill needs time -- at least five or six years.

If you mean two years in a row, that might be true since it's rare K-State visit any conference team two consecutive years. If you mean back to back games in Lawrence, not true

I expect KU to win the Big XII North and hope they make it to a BCS Bowl Game,” said Salsbury on this upcoming season, which starts with Northern Colorado on Saturday.
