I don't get it.

I don't get the big deal about moving the conference offices to Dallas. BFD. Dallas is an infinitely better city than kansas city and plenty connected w/college sports.

I don't get the big deal about the longhorn network. So what.

I don't get the big deal about Dan Beebe.

I guess this just goes to show that irrational hatred is quite possibly one of the worst diseases one can have. I'm proud to have gotten rid of my irrational hate of KU. Rock Chalk Jayhawk

As long as you held on to your rational hatred of KU you should be fine. If not seek professional help immediately.

Since this is a sports board - Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers, FC Dallas have all won or participated in a multitude of championship games over the last 15 years. Two yearly PGA tourneys (Byron Nelson and Colonial). Super Bowl, World Series, NBA all-star game all within the last year. Cotton Bowl. TCU, SMU, UNT, Red River Shootout. Never understood the deal with Dallas, from a Business standpoint there's simply no contest between Dallas and KC.

Also don't understand the hate of Texas. They've done nothing besides build an empire, they have more alums, they are a huge name, they've done exactly what any other school in their position would do. Say what you want about Mack Brown's coaching (which is pretty good) he is one of the best politicians around, and he's managed to glad hand and kiss the babies down there to the point that their huge quantity of millionaire boosters happily pull out their checkbooks every chance they get.

I've never seen more morbidly obese people than I did in Dallas. Extremely fat people really piss me off.

I'll give you the sports argument, Dallas is a much bigger market, you'd expect more sports teams. Personally, I enjoy KC neighborhoods better and the BBQ of course.
