coach speak for "texas isn't ghetto enough"...

what the Big 12 coaches are saying about each of the teams:

http://www.athlonsports.com/college-football/big-12-coaches-candid-quotes-conference-rivals

kinda thought this way about Texas all along...don't have a rough enough edge to 'em.  ya think they would ever have an Angelo Pease down there?

Quote
"They get a ton of early commitments, so we are talking about the best 16-year-olds in the country. But you are playing with 19-year-old kids. Sometimes the best 16-year-old kids don’t turn into the best 19- and 20-year-old kids. They get all their commitments before the end of their junior years; maybe they aren’t getting the best players. I think there is something to be said about that. Another thing: The guys they are taking are good-character kids, and good for them. But they don’t get a lot of kids who have overcome a lot of adversity. How tough are they? When things aren’t going right, how tough are they?"

Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

On most teams you would expect a big drop-off, but with Snyder he’ll scrape together another winning season and bowl berth like he always does."

I am glad the another coach think are talent is going to drop off this year and we are still going to be a good team. Because I don't think that could be farther from the truth.

QB - Will be more dynamic this year
RB - Thomas was a god but had to much of a load, and their is a a lot talent to back him up
WR - same core of guys but older, and was beat up last year
TE - see wr
FB- see wr
O-LINE - has more ability than last years line, think they will be better than last years line when we are 5 games deep

DE - was a joke last year
DT - a lot of 2nd year jucos... usually make a good jump in level of play
LB - 10 times better, was slow(fat white boy) and stupid(childs - first year) last year
S - older
CB - more depth

It's not even funny how much more depth this team has than the last 4 years

This just sends my confidence to another planet   :comeatme:

Yeah CCQ made a pretty big mistake against Mizzou with the fumble at the goal line.

Fumbled snap, result UCLA cheap TD, we ultimately win, CC not the goat, memories fade,  CC "good game manager"   :dunno:
