I kind of hate listening to him on the radio and I really hate him being viewed as some kind of "insider" when it comes to K-State Athletics.

They lead off the hour with Gabe D'Armond of Power Mizzou and the closed the hour with Jon Kirby from the Slant.

Sandwiched in between was Meek...whose last name sums it up.

Get Stan...Fitz...hell...Wyatt.

I realize that it's tough to cover the Cats, but there are people out there that have a better handle on what's going on than Meek...of even if they don't, speak with a bit more optimism or zeal about the program.

if there's one thing i hate, and yes, hate is a strong word but in this case i believe its use is warranted, its that austin meek does not have the zeal that i would expect out of a ksu cats sports reporter.

Get this, the squawk went to his boss and requested that he cover KU now too. He can't even hide it. I bet he has tons of optimism and zeal for the squawks while continuing to display very little for his hated Wildcats. Pathetic.
