I think he's just the kind of guy that's all positive and wants his guys to know he has faith in them.

He can't coach at this level worth a damn, but I think he's the kind of guy that would walk out into a rainstorm of piss and say, "Man, it's a beautiful day to be alive," and that explains a lot of his Gillisms.

All I know is that I'm driving to Lawrence the day of the game with the goal of getting free / deep discounted tickets. I want to sit on the west side of Memorial Sewage Treatment Plant, AKA Memorial Stadium, and laugh, LAUGH, LAUGH at each and every 'Cats score.

Know what I love; his goalting and perdictions. Just like the kid in grade school who tells everyone he can kick their ass; only to become the favorite punching bag before schools over. Only thing better is the look on Jayhawk fans the day after the game.
