The Texas bowl kinda sucked as a student. 91.9 got to broadcast the game, so the most exciting part of it, was walking on the field beforehand and playing catch with Stan. Other than that, Houston blows!

Only way for things to change is if we get 2 teams in the NY6 Bowl Games.

Winner of OU and OSU will go to the Sugar. If OSU beats OU and it is a super close game and Wisconsin blows out Penn State.

Also WV at 10-2 could find their way in the NY6 if they murder Baylor, and if OU blows out OSU, and Wisconsin blows out Penn State.

if we find 2 teams in the NY6 and we beat TCU we end up in the Russel Athletic Bowl.

i love Wednesday night bowl games, they're maybe the best. right smack dab in the middle of an otherwise boring cold winter week.

It would be very nice, but it looks like that's highly unlikely unless OU/OSU sneaks into the playoffs. Maybe they would take a 8-4 KSU over a 9-3 WVU, but that requires us beating TCU and WVU losing to Baylor. Even with that, it seems unlikely.

Looks like its down to Texas or Liberty.

Traveling to bowl games during the middle of a week really sucks. It's fine if you're staying home and all, but I don't think i'd ever go to a Wednesday bowl game. Attendance numbers I bet are way lower and people's PTO are usually wiped out after the holidays. #science

last win vs a team that was a part of the SEC when we played them was Tennessee.

last win and only other win vs a current SEC school while they were a member of the SEC was Kentucky in 1982.

(Mississippi State had to forfeit a game they beat us in 1977)
