Had to stop there on my way back from San Francisco. After a week of organic, vegan, and overall healthy options, it was quite a culture shock to see only BBQ restaurants in the Memphis airport.

Weather for the liberty bowl is usually crap though. They had an ice storm two or three years ago.

Good grief, NYC is still NYC in the winter. Elite city with elite things to do indoors and out. Sorry the bowl doesn't pander to your Statue of Liberty ferry ride season.

Shreveport, Montgomery, Boise, and El Paso are the worst.

There are 3 bowls in Alabama and one in El Paso. Those are all worse places than Memphis.

In that scenario we likely went 6-6. Playing a favorable bowl game vs a team like California sounds great and all, but no thanks.
