A Memphis roadie would be fun.

It's my favorite airport to stopover in, though.  Several local BBQ joints set up shop in there.

Had to stop there on my way back from San Francisco. After a week of organic, vegan, and overall healthy options, it was quite a culture shock to see only BBQ restaurants in the Memphis airport.

Lets name off places less desirable bowl destinations than Memphis, I'm just curious how many there are.  I'll start.

That's a good one, easily the grossest bowl.  Had a coworker tell me about the time she went down there to watch OSU play 'Bama play and how horrible it was.  :Yuck:

Weather for the liberty bowl is usually crap though. They had an ice storm two or three years ago.

Having never been to Memphis, if that is the bowl we are relegated to I might consider it.

So, 3rd worst bowl?  Seems about right.

Good grief, NYC is still NYC in the winter. Elite city with elite things to do indoors and out. Sorry the bowl doesn't pander to your Statue of Liberty ferry ride season.

Shreveport, Montgomery, Boise, and El Paso are the worst.

There are 3 bowls in Alabama and one in El Paso. Those are all worse places than Memphis.

I could see myself trying to get to NYC for a bowl as well.

While I wouldn't go to and don't want the liberty bowl, if we play Mississippi State it would be a nice little beginning to our eventual non-con series

In that scenario we likely went 6-6. Playing a favorable bowl game vs a team like California sounds great and all, but no thanks.
