No way undefeated TCU loses out to a 2 loss team.

Didn't this happen to TCU recently? 2013 or 2014?

Without looking it up, I’m pretty confident that in the playoff era, an undefeated Big 12 team has never been excluded. Not only would that be BS, but it would serve as a pretty damning indictment on future SEC members OU and Texas.

That was 1 loss TCU (and also 1 loss Baylor, who beat TCU) getting passed over for 1 loss Ohio State.

Only if we can resist the urge to call needless designed runs for our qb, which is a pretty big leap for this staff

I think I'd rather play Alabama than LSU. We already destroyed LSU last year, and I'm thinking that maybe Alabama would give us a better game.

Playing and beating an Alabama team that mentally doesn't care to be there and most likely short handed with all the opt outs would cause me require me to call a doctor for the 4+ hour erection I'd be dealing with

Alabama is almost virtually eliminated from the Sugar Bowl. They are currently 4th in bowl selection for the SEC. For them to make the sugar, Tennessee would have to lose one of their last 2 games, and LSU would have to beat Georgia in the SEC championship, and then both LSU and Georgia would have to make the cfp. Alabama will get one of the at large spots in the NY6, but they'll almost certainly miss the sugar.

If Michigan wins out, there is a very real chance that the CFP this year includes none of Alabama, Clemson, OU, or tOSU so regardless of who else gets in I think we should all at least take a moment to appreciate that if it comes to fruition

I'd bet almost anything that both Michigan and Ohio State get in. The loser of that game isn't going to get their asses kicked anywhere close to what Tennessee did.

Would also take Tennessee in the Sugar bowl

It's probably already been covered, but am I right that the Cats can clinch a spot for the Big 12 title game this weekend if the Kansas teams take care of business?

Games:
TCU (7-0) vs. Baylor (4-3)
KSU (5-2) vs. WVU (2-5)
Texas (4-3) vs. KU (3-4)
TTU (3-4) vs. ISU (1-6)
OSU (4-3) vs. OU (2-5)

If KSU and KU win, then going into the final week we would already have 6 conference wins, with no other teams having a shot at 6 wins other than teams we hold the head-to-head tiebreaker against, yes?

Yes. Put another way, if KU and KSU both win this weekend, then KSU goes to the Sugar Bowl.

(Cough, cough) assuming TCU is undefeated going into Championship games
