Chris Cosh: Fun facts
« on: August 19, 2011, 05:05:12 PM »
Last season K-State defense allowed 5.93 yards per
carry, the most of any Big 12 team in a single season in the history of
the conference. Baylor allowed 5.82 yards per carry in 1997, but that
was K-State's closest challenger

I would like to blame this on the evolution of the spread offense or something, but....our defense was sad last year.

I blame Cosh for last year, and I blame Bill for this year since it is going to happen again.

That would be considered a "Fun Fact" if true.  However, I hate parents who use the same first letter naming technique.

If Chris Cosh had a heart attack and died, how would you feel about it?

I'd encourage OK_Cat to wear his Cosh jersey to MOAP2.

Maybe some of you rough ridin' noobs will wake up and realize that we have the finest analysts in the EMAW world on salary here at goEMAW.com.  In this business you either lead, follow, get out of the way, or give crap away for free that is better than everyone else.

Also, I feel like maybe we have to have some serious talks at our next board of directors meeting about our business model.  I just have a suspicion that giving GPC, et. al. their stories for free is prolly not the best model.   Could be wrong, however.  I do NOT have a journalism degree....just watched loads of WKRP and stuff.

It's clear you haven't been paying any rough ridin' attention.  We actually played pretty good defense against KU, ISU and UCLA.   :dubious:

I watched WKRP enough to know that given the choice, I'd want Bailey's panties on my floor more than Jennifer's.

Also, according to HCBS we did a pretty good job defensively in that Mizzou game where they scored 38 points and the defense gave up 6.9 yards per play.

Thankfully last year we had a depth problem.  Now we've got that fixed.

Have nothing new to add to the most recent Cosh bashing thread, but feel almost obligated to comment in any thread mentioning WKRP.  Especially since WKRP basically mirrors KSU football now with its nepotism & stubborness to change with the times.

Snyder defends last season's defense

LHC Bill Snyder heard the criticism about Kansas State's defense last season, and on Monday night, he did some defending of his own...

Calmed.

As I've said before: Snyder plus good defensive coordinator and future D-1 head coach equal top-10 program. Snyder with Cosh, not so much.

You got that right, Big Guy.

Can't figure out whether Joe Bob is Dr. Johnny Fever or Venus Flytrap. Obviously, Michael Smith is Herb Tarlick.

There is only one reason I would kick Bailey out of bed.  To eff her on the floor.
