The Taste of Greatness
« on: August 17, 2011, 10:47:39 PM »
I love tailgating before all K-state home games and all of the mouthwatering juicy food! The thought of tailgating in its self makes me ready for football season. What do you guys do before home games?

Luke's stock is rising as Winters continues to validate his greatness. Add Luke and Winters to my list! Also, EMAWBLAST! and Tobias!

Wow tell me about it Luke. Today I was enjoying a nice jog around campus when what do I hear over the music from my mp3 player but the Pride of Wildcat Land Marching Band. Gave me goosebumps and I :emawkid: for all to see.

I don't know about you, but for relief I  :jerk: about half a dozen times.  That way I don't need to worry about unexplained stains on my jeans during the exciting times of the game.   :emawkid:
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

I don't eat much when I'm drinking so I don't really touch the tailgate food.

When i walk from Jardine to the stadium, i love the view of BSFS peeking over the trees with some legit pump up song blaring in the distance. i usually walk faster. usually either supporting the El Roberson jersey with the hot thick stripes on the arms. or Josh Freeman's with that funky bar on it.

Overly big breakfast before I leave - then, like JT, I have a liquid diet. If there is an offering of ultra-mega elite tailgating food, I might partake - but generally it's alcohol.
We are K-State and we love to hire SHlTTY coaches.

I'm a concensus all american breakfast burrito maker at tailgates. The recipe is really easy too with no waste.

1 pound of bacon
1 package of sausage
1 whole onion
1 whole green bell pepper
1 whole red bell pepper
x jalepeno peppers (to taste)
x serano peppers (to taste)
1 dozen eggs.

In one pan, cook the bacon, in the other, cook the sausage. After cooking the bacon, leave all grease in pan and saute all vegetables (use a big pan). In the sausage pan, leave some grease, but not all, and scramble all eggs. Mix everything, salt as necessary, at the end and roll the burritos with cheese and sour cream.  Can brown the burritos in a dry pan or directly over fire (like grilled stuffed burritos at TB) if you can stop yourself from eating right away.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

i try to mix it up, maybe breakfast burritos, maybe steak and eggs, but on thing is for sure, i always say a nice prayer asking the almighty to keep our fighting wild wildcats safe during the game, and then i sprinkle in some thoughts as well.

FYI, the Jardine sports bar is open for this football season so you can watch other games from around the country and get pak'd at the same time while still being right next to BSFS.

:surprised:  Had no idea such a thing was coming.

This will be wildly popular.  Aggieville will flex to try to get it shut down and/or Jardine will kick all residents out and become a bar district of it's own.
