Just talked to my uncle who happens to golf with a higher up in the athletic department. Anyways, I guess they were playing 18 at Stag Hill on Sunday and the hot shot guy said he'd be very surprised if either one of the Browns suited up for K-State this year. Apparently the Browns may not be the only boneheads on our squad and if the NCAA does much digging at all, we could have a real problem on our hands. This is just a source I have and I don't know if you guys had heard any similar grumblings.

Mods, feel free to move this thread to the premium board if you don't feel comfortable with this info being so public.

If the NCAA does much digging at just about any athletic program, there would be a bunch of people in trouble and they'd pretty much have to shut down major college athletics.

Yes, what is a "higher up" doing playing at Stag, if you're high enough up, you get memberships to MCC and such.

Yes, it could get very bad for Kansas State University, especially if the NCAA starts following the meat goat money trail. I understand the concept of hiding in plain sight, but maybe we shouldn't keep the meat goats so close to the football complex.

DLew, see premium board for similar rumblings. Deeper than we thought but I don't think we get it as bad as Miami. Bill is definitely gone though.
