The only type of thing I would not want vacated would be a Big12 championship, a BCS bowl win, or a MNC.  Since none of those are going to happen, I'm all for playing the crap out of them and (maybe) later vacating 8 wins or whatever.

Second expert tells me Miami players should be benched, but not Brown brothers. Describes their transfer as a "get-out-of-jail-free card."

Also tells me K-State should be concerned, talking with Brown brothers and Big 12 office, but these cases usually don't follow transfers.

Man it must really suck to be a Miami fan right now. ESPN has devoted their entire afternoon line up to them

BITB: This couldn't even happen in Manhattan could it? There isn't even a strip club in town.

Fitz: No there isn't and that's a problem on many levels... :creepylaugh:

this should appease the "I hate ESPN. RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE." media crowd. Actually probably not.

The silence from mancrappenin still seems to be deafening today.  They evidently refused to comment to Austin Meek last night, but how long can Old Ballz get away with that?  Hell, Misery -- not exactly a bastion of being forthcoming to the media during times of scandal -- at least put out some kind of perfunctory release last night.

Were the Brown boys actively participating at practice today?  What are the plans about their immediate status heading into the season?  Has ksuck been advised by the NCAA or by their own compliance people to sit them?

Time for the ksuck beat writers to get off their knees in front of Saint Snyder of Assisi and actually do their jobs.

Quote
I'm saying it's the JOB of the press in general and the ksuck beat writers in particular to ask Old Ballz and ksuck the questions. If he wants to stonewall and refuse to answer any questions about their status and pretend it's still the 1990s and there's not a national firestorm going on about the UM scandal and all of it's tentacles and try to not let info out until the day before the first game, that's his prerogative. But his taking that approach then becomes the story, dontcha think? He may think the universe revolves around him and his subservient group of media lapdogs, but it's at least possible he's about to find out otherwise.

Statement from K-State says it has been in contact with the NCAA, and the league has "no concerns" about the Browns' eligibility at KSU.
