Really a pathetic defensive performance, one of the worst of many during the Ron Prince era.

I remember watching that game, just looking at our defensive alignments told me they didn't have a clue, we never disguised a thing.

Hunter Cantwell  :chainsaw:

I was in Overland Park, KS at an establishment call The Other Place.

Isn't that by the Goodwill store?    :surprised:

If I remember right, it was just the defense!

Ronald was always big on team unity.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

I think Wyatt and Stan had to run stairs as well.

including coaches.  still can't figure out why Freemaw was so prone to turnovers at the worst possible moment (unless playing Texas), and now he's totally elite.

Wasn't this the first game where we got a sideline dance preview from Ronald?  I think it is.  Nothing like the Texas Stomp, but something....right?

Loovull had 577 yards of offense, 303 rushing  :horrorsurprise:

I almost forgot how bad our defense was those years.

Yeah that was a really bad Louisville team that shredded us too.   Neither of the coaches from that game are head coaches any more and neither well be again.  Prince made the defense run when they got home lilke at 3AM and it was a Thursday game so they had class the next day.  That was pretty much the beginning of the end for him.  It was clear that nothing had changed with the defense from the previous year and it was going to be a long season.

I was looking at this game like it was a measuring stick, to see how we might stack up defensively against middle-of-the-pack/slightly above average Big XII offenses.  Unfortunately it gave the answer, just not an answer I wanted to see.    :flush:

Was in a bar in Glascow, MT.  I asked this guy to turn it to ESPN (I think?) for the K-State game.  He said something like "the Jayhawks are playing tonight?"  Man oh man.  This was right after we destroyed Montana Community College for Hayseeds, too.

This happens all the time out here in SoCal

Last year we were in Lewistown, Montana, and this dude had a full on Texas get up on (hat, pullover jacket, UT beltbuckle, UT boots).  He was way drunker than I was, and the guy I was with was a Nubb fan.  So it was a fun night making fun of both of them.
