i wonder if they grabbed the wrong camera by mistake and are filming this with someone's cell phone camera that has a cracked lens and ass gravy all over it.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

goddamnit.

why did i expect better.  granted i don't have the fastest connection, but i have no problems watching HD on netflix, hulu or espn3.  this looks like a webcam feed from 10 years ago.
it's not your connection.

*sigh*

I was hoping it was.

Picture quality depends on the version of your computer and your connection rate. As a result, K-StateHD.TV videos may not look identical in sharpness to HD video you may see on your TV at home.

no crap.

It's probably better blurry guys. Ol' Barren Womb (OWz) still has the girls looking like the 1989 Dallas Cowboys out there. For crying out loud where are our pro-combats?  :flush:

Maybe K-State just underestimated the overwhelming demand of KStateHD.TV. They had better have it working by the EKU game or this network will be completely dead.

in all honesty I don't think this will be a permanent thing. They couldn't get an accurate load test until now, just gotta throw "a tad more pipe" at it (OMG GET IT?)

Currie has several days to authorize the purchase of proper equipment and employment of proper personnel.  If the quality is the same for EKU, this will be a laughingstock.

The last time resolution turned out this bad was at the Gulf of Tonkin.  Sheesh.

The picture is great when there is no movement, which is just perfect for sports.

What makes K-StateHD.TV unique?
Thanks to a very close working relationship between KSA and on-campus staff, K-StateHD.TV features a mix of athletics and on-campus personnel and equipment. Students will work hand-in-hand with professionals in all aspects of K-StateHD.TV, fostering an environment unique in college athletics. Using one of the few fully-equipped HD trucks in the Midwest, K-StateHD.TV not only will provide professional and outstanding production of all events, but a tremendous educational opportunity for students.

I hope the pros are letting the students experience a real world simulation of when things go wrong, and are letting them work it out.

And then they step in for the football games.

please.

ya saul, pic quality is better (not great, not HD, but not as bad as it was) however the choppyness is brutal.  it looks like its dropping a ton of frames during any type of action.
