If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.
I enjoyed your insight
First of all I think this is going to be a nice idea. But am I getting to be too much of a tuck to believe that Currie is on to something? At $80/yr a nice chunk of money can amount quickly. Think of the amount of alumni around the US, along with bars in Kansas that will look into it, at least for the first football game.

If this is a good idea, then others schools will do it, right? Are we inventing something that will kick our own ass?

Isn't that how we were going to watch the Cats battle with ULL or UNT recently? IIRC, I took long naps through both of those games with my laptop resting on my stomach.

Pretty much every college athletics website in the country has some sort of premium video service that shows baseball and volleyball games, that isn't what makes kstate hd unique I think. Sounds like we will own one of the very few HD trucks in the entire midwest region, and produce everything in HD — very few if any college sites do that... My guess is that this is positioning us to be ready for content distribution elsewhere down the road as well, whether that be a Big 12-minus-Texas network or whatever.
will it have bball games that are televised, but not nationally? will it have every bball game? or is it just baseball, volleyball and the bball games no one else would dare broadcast?i'd invest in whatever connection speed is necc. + the subscription if i'd get every bball game in high def.
