Its a good move, it fits how Lamur plays anyway. The LB unit will be a huge upgrade this year.

Sock, or just one of those awesome, eternally pessimistic douches that frequents this board? Tre was a true Frosh, Lamur had literally no experience at LB and Brown will be a huge improvement even if he doesn't live up to the hype.

Didn't ELamur start at safety in the PB?  Tre was really lookingg good by the end of the season.  I would definitely say this LB corp will be much better than last year's.  Hell, just by replacing Rat with an actual LB should help quite a bit and the less Hrebec sees the field, the better.  (Guess he can play special teams, he seems like the kind of dude who would be good at that type of thing).

Will they be better than last year?  Probably.  They're more talented on paper than last year's group and they'll have more experience.  But it's not a stone cold lock the production will be significantly better this year.

Just thought it was interesting that two thirds of this 'upgrade' was already in place for the bowl game and got collectively ran over by a pedestrian, at best, Syracuse offense.
