Somehow, they have us as the 6th best defense in the conference. Would take.

Should I set my expectation levels by this?

They overestimated our D, underestimated our O. Unless of course our OL sucks, which is possible.

While not an avid reader of that site, the amount of misspellings in other articles leads me to believe we should not set our expectation levels by it.

I'm still scratching my head as to how we can have the 3rd best secondary in the conference?

I guess it's really not that much of a stretch to say that our D will be better than KU, ISU, Baylor and Tech.

Overestimating our safeties. They did it last year too. Basically all stems from the first year of Tysyn/Lamur when they were pretty solid and young.

I hear Baylor's new DC is a real lightning rod for defensive effort.  :comeatme:

Also, Tech has a new defensive slogan "Hunt Together, Kill Together" or something like that...sounds dangerous.  :ohno:

Maybe, although I bet Tech is better than our defense. Another year getting his players on the field will help Tubberville. They will be more physical.

Let's hope we can at least be better than KU on D. We should be better, we actually have linebackers that are not in the hard working white guy mold.

You're probably right, giving me more of a reason to not read that site. We've really been pretty bad at safety since the Lamar Chapman-Rashad Washington eras. 1st year of Lamur/Tysyn (seriously mom and dad this is how you wanted you're son to spell his name?) may have been the best since? Of course this all tracks with the general decline in talent in our program.
