I think it's going to be pretty funny when Bryce turns out to be the biggest bust in our history.
Impossible.

Yeah. I'm not sure which expectation is more unrealistic. Brown bros are locks for the Smoke award.

Pretty much, they can share the honor.

Success at the high school level is not i
always indicitive of success at the D1 level.  If the dude isn't willing to work hard (like all the other players in the country) he probably won't ever live up to his hype.  He won't be playing games against Wichita South this season so he may want to go ahead and put as much work in as possible.

Yes but he was already pretty productive in the SEC as a true freshman.  Had like 500 yards rushing and 100 something receiving as a backup to a guy that was drated in the second round.

Dude was the #1 overall recruit in the country,"pretty productive" isn't what we're looking for with him.  Adrian Peterson had like 1900 yds as a freshman.

Ricky Williams is 2nd on the all-time rushing list and he only had 990 yards his freshman year.   :ck:

Ricky had more than twice the rushing yds, 8 TDs compared to BB's 3, and avg'd 1.4 more yds/carry.  Oh, and Ricky played minor league baseball during the summer, while Bryce "kinda did his own thing."

Ricky was also stoned off his ass the whole time. Bryce is just high on God and tomato soup.

Those might not be the only guys in the running. I hope that Bryce is starting by Miami as well, but I'm not sure he will be. The good thing is its really up to him.

Er

Just know that when it's time to play Miami he will start.

I fully expect him to get the Ell treatment.  OBz is obligated to make the public display of disapproval, but when the chips are on the table, his best players will be on the field.

Except when it's Fiesta Bowl, and crap is really on the table....

Ell started the Fiesta Bowl.  For whatever reason, a lot of KSUers believe he didn't. Not true.

Uhhhh...didn't Ell rape somebody.  That's probably worth slightly more than 1 quarter nowadays.  Bill gave him a slap on the wrist, really.  She was a hoe tho and Bill understood that.

Madcat has really found his fastball.  MC, are you kind of a football specialist?  Seems like the approaching football season has brought you to life, like in "Independence Day" when the approaching alien fleet activated the captured alien spacecraft at Area 51 (that Will Smith and Jeff Bridges smoke in).

I'm not going to lie...I'm getting a little excited.

I don't know what the actual chart says but Pease will get a ton of carries while I doubt Rose ever sees the field outside of mop up time.

I watched the entire game and my memory failed me because a year or so ago I got into a heated discussion about him starting--I said he didn't.  Then I went back and looked at the box score and sure enough he did.  Don't know why we think he didn't?

We want to blame the loss on him, and it's much easier to do that if he didn't start.

this.  peeps who talk Rose & Hubert but never mention Pease should not be taken seriously in any discussions.  Better start lovin' you some Pease.
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

Huberter Watch Out

The undefeated Wildcats use a number of backs to carve up the hapless Sooner defense in 31-28 victory.
