Author Topic: First, I'd like to invite you to be my friend; a true friend. (Read 20940 times)

Any of you guys ever have a really bad day. One that just puts things into perspective? I had one of those days today. And I just wanted to say, PowetWarrior. I "get" you. I used to think bad days were a choice. If you're perpetually having a bad day, you're a big effing loser for choosing to have bad days. I still believe this - but both PowetWarrior and myself understand that choices are all we have control over. And sometimes, the choice to ignore all of the crap going on in life and choose to love is the only thing that matters. Not Love in a, we're drunk and "you're my brother, man" type of thing - but the love it takes to understand the negative things in one another. I've never met a single one of you, but I know that every one of you is a good person (except probably JT). Only your fear, insecurity & lack of trust blinds others from the type of person you are.

I would love to meet every one of you guys and greet you with a hearty "Hello Friend!"

And to PW, all I have to say to you is this: You inspire me to appreciate what I have and forgive those being blinded to their good fortune while seeking what they don't have.

I can agree with a lot of what you've said and I appreciate you saying it. There is no reason for us not to be open with one another. You've done that. You've taken a step that many have not. With your aid their courage can come.
