Nope, love them. 2 of my best friends from college are @sypher316 and @tallblackguy913  on twitter. We're heading down to Miami for the game in September. I think you guys got me all wrong, I hate KU, I threw that term out cause thats what they say on the phog all the time. Figured he'd understand it.  :ck:

people should be more upset w/ the unoriginality of the slur instead of the non pc-ness of it.

Yeah, I don't think people here care too much about making fun of gays.  They are just more disappointed in the fact that calling someone gay as an insult quit being funny after the first time any of us have ever heard it.

I once made people chuckle when I called someone a male genitals-sucker.

I was prolly around 9 years old, dunno exactly, maybe younger. So I'm sittin at the counter watching the telly with the 'rents and someone did something bad to the good guy in whatever show we were watching. So I proceed to say "what a male genitals-sucker" and I notice my ma and pa fighting back laughter. I had no idea why, I had called people "suckers" plenty. It wasn't until a few years later I actually found out what it meant. I was sooo embarassed.

Pretty sure the only reason I got away with it was because they knew I had no idea what it meant. Weird all the same though, mom frowned upon me saying stuff like "ain't". Needless to say, but I've become a black sheep of sorts to the family. It's not ONLY because I post on this board FWIW.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

I stopped saying "cocksucker" long ago because some of my gay friends were like, yeah, so? But I think "gay" can still be appropriate as a pejorative. About ten years ago I was talking about some kind of dumb situation (I can't remember what it was) with my lesbian supervisor. At one point I said, "Oh man, that is really...um..." And my supervisor goes, "gay." Me: "uhh..." Her, laughing: "GAY." Me: "...ok, gay." At least, this was still OK ten years ago...

I still say things are "gay" just to spite those gay commercials with hilary duff saying how calling something gay is offensive.  I just don't call people gay to offend them, because it isn't funny anymore.

Our HR director tried to ban "stupid" and similar terms from our workplace and our CEO told him it was "dumb". Pretty much the only thing I've ever liked about this company.

my wife's sister-in-law has a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) sister.  she gets really offended when people use the word Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) or Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).  she's also an idiot.

i've been teaching okcat_toddler to say them both.   :comeatme:

Your wife's sister-in-law has a 50% chance of being your sister.  And your sister's sister is still your sister.  50% chance you have a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) sister.

Kitten Mitton's post must have really blown my mind because now the word "sister" looks really weird, like every single person is spelling it wrong.  Damn.
