i actually really like lawrence too, but then again i have lived almost my entire life in kansas and ten years in lawrence. it's a really nice kansas town and people that say it isn't are ridiculous. i like it a lot more than similar sized kansas towns like salina. that being said...if i had a room with a door that locked from the outside, a computer with internet access and an entire week of work then i would enter into that thread. i only have the comp and inty though and not near enough time. i also go to phog a lot and that is by far the greatest, most delusional thread that i think i've ever come across. amazing work ku internet superstars.

Agreed. Lived there myself for 1.5 years and really liked the town. I would live in Lawrence hands down over anywhere else in Kansas except Manhattan & JoCo. However, anybody who claims anything more than this about Lawrence needs to get over themselves.

I just don't understand. I mean, I accept that there are people out there like you, but I just can't understand you. Can we get to know each other a little better? How do you feel about Toby Keith? Do you sport any type of facial hair? Do you own anything that is camouflage? I don't understand how anyone else would like this stuff either, so if you DO like Toby Keith, it would make it easier to accept your thoughts and feelings on these locations.

A Fiero? Seriously? And you want to better understand me? And for the record I HATE Toby Keith but I do enjoy a little bit of country music for a little variety. I also have had facial hair for the last 20 year and have a pair of camo cargo shorts I wear when I'm constructing pools. Trust me, you don't want to take a round-house kick in the face when I'm wearing those bad boys. The Fiero would make a great drinking and driving car but I could never fit in the driver's seat.
