Sanctioned tournaments are for pussies who work really hard trying to be good at ping pong. I'm a natural. It's like you're the senior drummer on drumline who has worked really hard to be a good drummer and have a high drummer rating and you have a lot of friends who look up to you and talk about how great at drumming you are and then I come in after not having picked up a drum in months and skunk you in drumming with your girlfriend watching but in the end we learn to respect each other despite our differences and team up to take down a hated rival drumming team in a very heated drum match.
