Where does he have the Michigan Wolverines ?? I'm assuming either NC game or Rose Bowl, not really going out on a limb there..

After last year can't we get past the "I'm just happy to be in a bowl" thing?  We need PROGRESS.

This year, with this schedule, is inherently different.  I fully expect that we'll have a better team this year, but if we have a "7/8 wins or bust" mentality, there's a good chance we'll be disappointed.

6 wins, maybe 7 (depending on a bowl game) is what I expect.  With the schedule, it'd be silly to be irate about that.

With 6 wins, we haven't really improved from last year, schedule be damned. 7 wins or fire Snyder's ass, I say.

Yeah you can't casually dismiss the entire schedule.  I mean get what you're saying.  But you're wrong.

Next season: 5 wins or fewer, is a failure. 6 is adequate.  7 or more is good.

You never truly know how easy or difficult a schedule is this early in the season. Miami has a new coach, Missouri has a new QB, Texas sucked last year, Iowa State is Iowa State, etc. My expectation is 6 based upon our talent, but I don't feel that Snyder did enough in the offseason to improve our defense. He can prove me wrong with 7 wins. If the schedule turns out to be more difficult than I think it is, I will reevaluate my milestones.

Having to play all 6 south teams pretty much makes the schedule tougher  on it's own.  Miami + 2 stiffs < UCLA, UCF, and 2 stiffs as well.  6 wins would be no forward movement.  Regardless, I want 8 reg season wins.  :dunno:

Sucks that people are already using the "schedule is super hard" talking point to justify a lack of wins this season. 'Grats Snyds.

But the schedule is super hard.  I know we all hate Snyder, but pretending that this season's schedule is just as easy as last's is ridiculous.

A&M, OU, @UT, @OSU, @Miami

Even with a potential let down year from UT, collectively, that may be the most difficult 5 games we've seen in the Snyder/Prince Era.  Compared to last season (which, in retrospect, was a ridiculously easy schedule) 6 wins looks like a decent season.  I'd bet we're about 14 point dogs in each of those games, with the exception maybe being Miami, simply due to the question marks surrounding them.

I want nothing to do with Iowa's run game.

I also do not want to hear my dad ramble on about how Snyder was coaching at Iowa under Hayden Frye back when he was there, or the "ANF" helmet sticker story again.

Just, please. No.

America Needs Farmers, started by Frye during some hayseed shortage in the 80s.  Seems strange though, seeing as U of I is the liberal arts school.  Very "wave the wheat"-ish.
