Bo in excellent and my bread and butter was A and over, but that's obvious and honestly a little   .

Hey.  Did you guys ever get real weird with it and play Pick Each Other's Team?  That brought out some hilarious scores like Phoenix Cardinals 10, LA Rams 0.  Another fun way to choose teams is to close your eyes and hold down the keypad for a while, then whatever team it lands on when you lift up is who you get.

Another fun thing to do is inject some EMAW into it by having the Patriots as your team in full-season mode and see if you can make Steve Grogan the highest rated passer in the league and winning the Super Bowl.  It's kind of hard by the end of the season because he kind of sucks in this game compared to other quarterbacks.

Excellent point, Deez Nuts.  When we started recruiting Tuggle to come here a little while ago, did anybody else get excited mainly because his dad was a QB on Tecmo? Def. used to play with Atlanta all the time during Pick Each Other's Team.  (Because nobody in their right mind would choose the Falc-a-talc of their own volition.)

I was a Bills guy.  The Kelly/Thomas/Reed offensive combo was solid across the board.  Cornelius Bennett was my "go to" defender.  Later in life I met Cornelius and told him this.  He didn't seem to understand wtf I was talking about.  I used to be able to get Thurman Thomas 1k rushing yards in a single game playing 5 minute quarters.

I'd always stick w/ the Chiefs but I would edit the playbook so every play had pre-snap motion in it.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

I would have played with the Bills much more if Kelly actually had a name in the game. I just thought it was Busch League to call him QB Bills.

It was his fault.

Yeah, I don't really care about it now, but try convincing 6-year-old Nuts Kicked that it wasn't Busch League, and it just ain't happening.

Really, everyone always talks about Bo Jackson like he was the only really good player in the game, but QBEagles was pretty damned good, too.

:horrorsurprise:  That's what I meant.  Was totally  :drink: at 2:44 am.

OMG Feagles.
I always liked The Bengals.  First, David Fulcher is a goddamn snake in the grass.  Second, Jim Breech was their kicker and whenever he kicked off you can make the joke to your bros, "Breech birth, comin' feet first like a kicker!"

Lawrence Taylor is an animal.  He can single-handedly shut down any offense.

I used to roll with the Lions.  Barry, Rodney Peete at QB, and the WR's were pretty good (Herman Moore and Clark maybe?).  Spielman was a beast on D.

knew a guy that was them.  he would be the NT Ball and immediately dive when the ball was snapped.  he could sack the computer's QB about 30% of the time.  couldn't do long drop backs or your were boned when playing him.

I enjoyed running Joe Montana into the back of my own endzone and then throwing the ball to Jerry Rice in the back of the other endzone.

The Giants had an impressive stable of RBs with Anderson, Megget and Hampton.  I think at least 2 of those 3 are in prison now.

Did any of you guys go back and play Tecmo Bowl after having played Tecmo Super Bowl? Man, that game was a POS next to Super Bowl.

I used the Lions quite a bit.  Barry in Excellent was unstoppable, and I totally did that Jerry Ball move all the time.  Never really though to use Spielman b/c Jerry Ball was everywhere.

LOL @ people who cut their teeth on Tecmo Bowl trying to claim it's better.  eff that crap.  And Nuts Kicked, I believe the Montana to Rice move you're talking about is officially referred to as "Going Earhole to Earhole."

extra points? I just spammed A button and would nearly always make it. Only once did it bounce off the goalpost (with Nick Lowery)
Where did you get that overnight bag?
